Buttslade House Cottage is situated in the courtyard of 17th century Buttslade House in Sibford Gower, a charming Quaker village at the edge of the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
The cottage offers stylish and comfortable B & B and self-catering accommodation (sleeps 4) in the tranquil setting of a beautiful English country garden. Starting life as stables the cottage was completely rebuilt in 2006, reusing the original stone and tiles, and provides everything the discerning visitor might require for a comfortable holiday or stopover.
Buttslade House is ideally located for accessing the Cotswolds, Oxford, Shakespeare country and the RSC theatre at Stratford. It is also a good base for cyclists, walkers and golfers (Brailes and Ryehill). Equestrian activities are well catered for in the locality by a variety of nearby facilities so please ask for more information.
Motor car enthusiasts will get excited by The Heritage Motor Centre at Gaydon (20 minutes) and Silverstone race circuit which is about 40 minutes drive.
Buttslade House is open year round and small dogs are welcome by arrangement.
Easily accessible; just 6 miles due west of Banbury (J11 of the M40 motorway) and 1 mile due south of the B4035 Banbury to Shipston on Stour road.
